About

Hello,
I'm Dalhia. I am the Founder and Principal Dietitian at Food and Nutrition Central
I have a BSc Honours degree in dietetics, I have over 30 years experience in dietetics, within both the NHS, in industry and as a freelance dietitian.
As a registered dietitian I am a regulated nutrition expert; ideally placed to translate the complex science of nutrition and explain this in a practical meaningful way to help improve your health. I aim to empower and facilitate positive changes in food choices through education and understanding of what matters to you.
I am a member of the British Dietetic Association and registered with the HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council). I am an accredited Work Ready Dietitian (the BDA's dietitian-led wellness initiative) and I have a wealth of experience delivering employee health and wellbeing for almost 10 years.
I am a mum to 2 boys (now young men), and currently I work part time within the NHS and as a freelance dietitian, having set up my own freelance consultancy Food and Nutrition Central almost 20 years ago.
Experience
With over 30 years of dietetic experience in the NHS and freelance, I can draw upon my extensive expertise and offer practical helpful suggestions for a variety of therapeutic diets for clinical conditions as well as general health.
